(Graduate and Professional
Students ONLY)
For information regarding using these funds for summer
school, please see the summer
financial aid page.
The Federal Grad PLUS Loan is available for Graduate and Professional
students only. A FAFSA is required, and students must borrow Stafford
eligibility before being considered for Grad PLUS. The loan has an 8.5%
fixed simple interest rate, and interest begins accruing immediately.
Payments are not required as long as student is enrolled at least half-time.
A credit check will be performed, and students can be denied for this
loan due to adverse credit.
While you may choose any lender you wish, we recommend that students
who have used TCU as the lender for their Federal Stafford loans (which
is serviced by NTHEA) may want to choose Frost Bank in order to have
their Grad PLUS loan serviced by North Texas Higher Education Authority
as well.
Click on any of the lenders below to go to the online application.
If your loan is credit-approved, TCU will provide the necessary information
to your lender.
Once we certify your loan, you will be notified to complete the Loan
Entrance session online.
