Should I take out a Federal Grad PLUS Loan or a private loan?

The Federal Grad PLUS Loan is available for Graduate and Professional students only. A FAFSA is required, and students must borrow Stafford eligibility before being considered for Grad PLUS. The loan has an 8.5% fixed simple interest rate, and interest begins accruing immediately. Payments are not required as long as student is enrolled at least half-time. A credit check will be performed, and students can be denied for this loan due to adverse credit. You may select any lender you wish for your education loans - TCU has provided a list of recommendations below.
