Eligibility: Once FAFSA is filed and Requested Information items are complete, 1st year MSNA/DNP students will be awarded $20,500 in Stafford loans for their first academic year. Texas residents will be eligible for funding in the College Access Loan (CAL) program. Any student may apply for either a Grad PLUS Loan or a Private Education Loan. The total of all loans will remain within the listed cost of attendance above. Loan disbursements will come in either two or three equal disbursements.

 

Second Year

Eligibility: Once FAFSA is filed and Requested Information items are complete, 2nd year MSNA/DNP students will be awarded $20,500 in Stafford loans for their second academic year. Texas residents will be eligible for funding in the College Access Loan (CAL) program. PLEASE NOTE: (1) Students wishing to use CAL in both summer and fall-spring MUST do two separate applications: one for summer 2011 and a second app for fall 2011-spring 2012. (2) Students completing two separate apps for CAL must wait until you are notified by our office that your first CAL has been certified before completing the second CAL app. Any student may apply for either a Grad PLUS Loan or a Private Education Loan. The total of all loans will remain within the listed cost of attendance above. Loan disbursements (except CAL) will come in three equal disbursements, one for each term.

 

Third Year

Eligibility: Once FAFSA is filed and Requested Information items are complete, 3rd year MSNA/DNP students will be awarded $20,500 in Stafford loans for their third academic year. Texas residents will be eligible for funding from the College Access Loan (CAL) program. Any student may apply for either a Grad PLUS Loan or a Private Education Loan. The total of all loans will remain within the listed cost of attendance above. Loan disbursements will come half in May for the summer term, and half in August for the fall term.
