Tandy Grant
Amount: Award amounts vary. Students
who demonstrate financial eligibility through the FAFSA may receive
awards of up to full tuition. Students with no financial eligibility
may receive tuition to a maximum of $5,000 for the academic year (fall/spring).
Eligibility: Tandy Corporation employees and their lineal descendants are eligible to be considered. Employees may be part-time students. However, descendants must be be full-time students. Students must reapply annually. Renewal is based on maintenance of satisfactory academic progress requirements. Applications may be obtained from the TCU Financial Aid Office.

Teacher Education Assistance for College and
Higher Education (TEACH) Grant
Amount: Awards vary, up to $4000 per
year.
Eligibility: For students who intend
to teach in a public or private elementary or secondary school that
serves students from low-income families. The TEACH Grant program
does not officially go into effect until July 1, 2008. The Department
of Education will publish regulations to implement the TEACH Grant
Program after providing an opportunity for public comment in accordance
with legal requirements. TCU's Office of Scholarships and Student
Financial Aid will provide information via email to students who appear
eligible for the TEACH Grant once we receive further guidance from
the Department of Education on how to implement the program. Additional

Summer International Study Grant
Amount: Awards vary, generally between $500 and $3,000.
Eligibility: Undergraduate, degree
seeking students with financial eligibility who will be returning
to the University for at least one more year of study are eligible
to apply for funding through this program. Applicants must have at
least a 2.5 TCU cumulative GPA and must be participating in a TCU
Summer International Study Program.
Personal/Professional Development Grant
Amount: 40% of tuition for up to seven hours each semester. Fees are not included in the grant.
Eligibility: Year-round part-time students (enrolled for 11 hours or less) who are at least 22 years of age by the final day of late registration may apply. Student must not exceed income limitations stated on application. May not be combined with other TCU administered aid. Good academic and financial standing at all colleges and universities attended is required. Students receiving this award must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Alumni Half-Tuition
Amount: Half tuition for up to seven hours per semester.
Eligibility: Students with TCU degrees are eligible to take additional undergraduate courses, except for performance music. May not be combined with any other TCU or outside awards except loans. Students must register on the second day of late registration for fall and spring semesters and the first day of class for summer terms. Awards are not retroactive; therefore, anyone who registers during the general registration period cannot receive this award. Students receiving this award must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Half-Tuition Application
City of Fort Worth Employee Financial Assistance
Amount: TCU provides financial assistance for up to one-third of the tuition rate for two courses per semester for fall and spring and one course for summer. University fees are not included.
Eligibility: Students must be employed with The City of Fort Worth for at least six months and must be eligible for the employee tuition reimbursement program. Students must also file the FAFSA. Students receiving this award must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
