TCU: Financial Aid for Graduate Students

General Information

  • To determine your eligibility for Federal loans, you will need to submit the 2011-2012 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the Federal processor using your 2010 tax information.

  • The Federal Stafford Loan is subsidized if the student demonstrates financial eligibility (maximum $8,500 per academic year-graduate level). The Federal government pays the interest while student is in school and during grace period.

  • The unsubsidized Stafford Loan is not based upon financial need. Student accrues interest on the Unsubsidized loan upon disbursement while in school. The Federal Stafford Loan maximum annual loan limit is $20,500 (subsidized + unsubsidized).
