Hours of enrollment are reviewed by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid on the 12th class day each fall and spring term. Summer enrollment is reviewed on the last day of the final summer session as posted by the Registrar. Your financial aid for the term will be based on credit hours enrolled on the 12th class day.
If you drop credit hours prior to the 12th class day, you may be required to repay some or all of the aid disbursed to you.
If you add credit hours prior to the 12th class day, your financial aid package may be adjusted to reflect your increased level of enrollment.
If you drop credit hours after the 12th class day, your financial aid package will not be adjusted unless you withdraw from all classes. If you drop classes, you may not have sufficient hours to meet renewal requirements for some aid programs. However, adding classes after the 12th class day may allow for further loan eligibility. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the financial aid office to request further aid.
Cost of attendance budgets will also be reviewed and adjusted based on the student’s enrollment on the 12th class day each fall and spring term and last day of the final summer session. Financial aid awards must be within the student’s need eligibility and cost of attendance each term.
